2 Corinthians 12:8-10

When we are less than whole or unbalanced in some way be it; physically broken, mentally unsettled, or spiritually lost, in order to even begin to step into the opportunity to skillfully engage with what is unfolding for our healing, we have to hold some sense of hope, some faith that our Holy living, transcendent, creator God, is walking with us & will guide us to whole living in one form or another.

2 Corinthians 12:8-10

God invites each of us to claim our original identity of wholeness & in spite of our brokenness, to claim the misty consciousness of something forgotten & to step into the spirit of whole health. God’s grace will re-awaken your soul, giving  your mind, body & spirit: Light, Hope & Healing, setting each one free to live into your purpose in the pathway He leads you.

Luke 17:21 & Matthew 6:33

Gods’ kingdom resides within each one of His creations.  We have a choice as to whether we are going to build up God’s Kingdom on earth, spreading healing & righteousness or to ignore the emptiness we encounter in life & walk away.

As we help others grow in faith, healing occurs for them as well as for ourselves for God’s righteous kingdom resides with in & among us all.

Matthew 11:28 & Isaiah 55:10-11

I think as long as we have hope & faith in God living in our spirits, it is possible to feel waves or murmurs of gratitude in our hearts from time to time, even though our bodies may be infirmed in some way & our minds may be cluttered with worry, grief, stress, anger & fear. However, at those times when we are journeying through seasons of suffering, be it of body or mind, I think if our spirits are not fed, we can lose hope & our faith can waver, blocking & unbalancing any healing & subsequent wellness to our mind & body as well as to our spirit.

Matthew 11:28 & Isaiah 55:10-11

God’s mercy & goodness will never fail us.  God calls us to come to Him for He seeks wholeness for all of His creation.  In times of suffering, we can choose to unburden our hearts & lift up thanks, praise & rejoicing to our holy living God for all the blessings & healing we have received & will receive, for He has promised to heal us & to give us new life.

Romans 4:13-25

Given our view of waiting, it is interesting that the word “waiting” is one of the most frequently used words in both the Old & the New Testament of the Holy Bible

To wait with openness & trust is a huge radical attitude toward life. It is giving up control over our future & letting God define our life.

So, as we step into a new calendar year, living outside the boundaries of time, since God’s Kingdom is fulfilled & is at hand, where do we fit in?

This much we do know, God is at hand, always inviting us to new beginnings as individuals & as a community of faith called to carry on Jesus’ ministry. For His name is eternal for us & living into it & reflecting it out to others is our purpose for being.
