Stay Up To Date with your Preventative Screenings
Preventative screenings are lifesaving. It is important to stay up to date with screenings that may detect issues early, improving outcomes and care options. Talk to your provider about what screenings would benefit you. Some common preventative screenings with general recommendations are:
- Mammogram: generally, starts at 40
- DXA (Bone density): generally, every 2 years starting at 65
- PAP (cervical cancer): generally, from 21-65 with frequency depending on PAP and HPV results
- CRC (colorectal blood screening): generally, starting at 45-75 with frequency depending on result
- Annual low-dose CT chest (lung cancer screening): generally, 50–80 with at least 20 pack-years who currently smoke or quit within 15 years
- AAA Screen (abdominal aortic aneurysm screening): generally, 1x ultrasound for men 65–75 who have ever smoked
If you believe you are due for a preventative screening, message your care team in your patient portal, or call us during regular calling hours for a script.
Schedule your annual physical
Annual visits are a great opportunity to talk with your healthcare provider about any changes to your health and well-being, share your current health goals, make a plan of action with sustained support from your Inspired Health Group care team, and discuss what preventative screenings may be most beneficial to you. Your healthcare provider can also use an annual visit to track existing conditions, monitor your health and well-being, update vaccinations, perform any necessary exams, and discuss risks for hereditary diseases that may run in your family.
If we have already seen you for your 2026 Annual Visit, we are now scheduling for 2027. Schedule your 2027 Annual Visit today! If you are unable to schedule online, you can also call or text our care team to schedule your next appointment.
