Purify Indoor Air with Plants
"Some airborne chemicals called volatile organic compounds, or VOCs, have been linked to cancer. VOCs can be released from common household products, furniture, and even cooking. The VOCs with the highest known cancer risk are formaldehyde, benzene, and chloroform. Indoor plants can be used to help purify indoor air. Studies have suggested that common houseplants can remove VOCs from the air."

IHG's Director of Business Development and Strategy, Rich Muscatello, shares his favorite office plant with us:
"I am grateful to have an office with not one, but two large windows in it! Because of that I have had great fortune with this, my favorite houseplant; a ZZ plant (Zamioculcas zamiifolia). This plant has been in my office since my first day here at Inspired Health Group a little over 7 years ago. Hard to believe it was only 6-7 tall when I brought it in. Its easy to care for and gets a lot of compliments from my co-workers."
