Jennifer Erickson, DO

Philosophy:

Dr. Jen Erickson revels in encouraging people to be the best they can be in their health and wellness.  Her mantra is: "Everyone can be a beacon of hope no matter what their limitations are."  Dr. Jen inspires people to believe in themselves using her strongly held Christian values which she applies to all aspects of her life.  

Life Journey:

In 2001, Dr. Jen and her husband, Dr. Rob Erickson, opened the doors to Inspired Health Group family practice in Orchard Park with the mission to inspire patients to mind, body, and spirit prosperity.  Since 2001, Inspired Health Group has cultivated a dedicated and professional team of board certified physicians, physician assistants, nurse practitioners, and dietitian nutritionists.  Their practice has truly become a true family practice, owned and operated by two generations of the Erickson family. Dr. Jen has the joy of working alongside two of her children at IHG; his daughter, Family Nurse Practitioner, Betsy Mikac, FNP-C, and and his son, Family Physician, David Erickson, MD.  In addition, Dr. Jen's sister-in-law, Shari Kay Shearing, BSN, RN, is the Director of Nursing.

Awards & Recognitions:

Inspired Health Group has been a patient centered medical home since 2011, and is currently recognized at the highest level by NCQA as a Level 3.  Catholic Medical Partners, a group of over 1,000 physicians, has recognized Dr. Erickson and Inspired Health Group with an Outstanding Achievement Award in delivering quality care and innovation.

Personal Life:

Dr. Jen Erickson is a bouncy and enthusiastic mother of four.  Her faith is an inspiration in every aspect of her life.  Her inspiration and values motivated her to participate in the Coach Approach Ministries Coaching curriculum.  For relaxation, Dr. Jen practices and instructs Hatha Yoga.
